Accepting these terms
By using Bordrs, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use Bordrs on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are allowed to do so.
What Bordrs is
Bordrs is a tool that helps you prepare a Canadian immigration file. It organizes your information, checks your fit against public pathways, and helps you get your documents in order.
Bordrs is a preparation tool, not a law firm. The finder, the checklists, and the general information on the site are for guidance and do not replace advice about your specific situation. Legal advice on immigration matters is available on the Counsel tier, delivered with licensed immigration professionals. Using the free tools does not create a professional relationship between you and a licensed advisor.
No guarantee of outcome
Immigration decisions are made by the Government of Canada, not by Bordrs. We can help you prepare a well organized file, but we cannot promise that any application will be approved or processed in a particular time. Bordrs is not affiliated with, and does not speak for, the Government of Canada or IRCC.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate and complete information. The quality of what Bordrs produces depends on what you enter.
- Keep your account details private, and let us know if you think your account has been used without permission.
- Use the service only for lawful purposes, and only for preparing genuine files.
- Review anything you submit to the government yourself, or with a licensed advisor, before you rely on it. You are responsible for what you file.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the service. That includes trying to break or overload it, copying it to build a competing product, uploading anything unlawful, or using it to prepare a file you know to be false. We may suspend accounts that do these things.
Fees and government charges
Where a paid Bordrs plan applies, the price and what it includes are shown on the pricing page. Government application fees are set by the Government of Canada, are separate from any Bordrs fee, and are paid directly to the government.
Our content
The Bordrs name, design, and the content we write are ours or our licensors'. You may use the service for your own file, but you may not copy the site or its content for other purposes without permission. The information you enter and the documents you upload remain yours.
The service as it is
We work to keep Bordrs accurate and available, but we provide it on an as is and as available basis. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and the general information on the site may not fit every situation. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Bordrs Labs Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. The precise wording of this section, including any cap on liability, is being confirmed as part of the counsel review of this page.
Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. The final choice of law and any dispute resolution process will be confirmed by counsel before this page goes live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will let account holders know. Continuing to use Bordrs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
